Meadway, unfortunately was subject to a cementitious render that consequently caused havoc with the building inside and out. Upon initial inspection Williams Restoration noted cracking in the external render and the beginnings of penetrating damp inside. Originally built using Lime mortars this building was trapping the moistures at an alarming rate.<\/p>\n

Williams Restoration undertook the restoration of the Meadway facades. This included the use of a ThermaTech modular cleaning system. A system created with the environment in mind. Energy efficiency, water consumption and its low emissions makes it one of the leading resources for a environmentally friendly company to have. Once complete we progressed to removing the cementitious mortar from the brickwork and stonework and replacing this with a sympathetic Lime mortar and repairing the stone with a bath pre-mix. This was used alongside locally sourced materials to achieve a mortar that matched the original. Williams Restoration also undertook the restoration of the original render. This included repairing the original where possible and the removal of perished areas, replacing with locally sourced, Lime based mortars.<\/p>\n
