The Dudley Guest Hospital boasts a rich\u00a0history and has played a prominent role\u00a0in Dudley life over the years.<\/p>\n

The original buildings on site began life in 1849 as\u00a0almshouses and were built on behalf of the Earl of\u00a0Dudley as accommodation for the local limestone\u00a0miners who were blinded whilst working on his estate.\u00a0Sadly the accommodation was not used and remained\u00a0vacant for some years.\u00a0In 1867, Joseph Guest, a prosperous nail worker\u00a0invested a significant sum towards the creation of a\u00a0hospital for Dudley. The unused almshouses were\u00a0selected as the ideal site and the Earl of Dudley paid\u00a0for all alterations, furniture and medical equipment.<\/p>\n

Williams Restoration undertook the cleaning of the facades at the Dudley Guest House. This was done using a ThermaTech modular cleaning system. A system created with the environment in mind. Energy efficiency, water consumption and its low emissions makes it one of the leading resources for a environmentally friendly company to have. Once complete Williams surveyed the building, identifying and completing some essential pointing repairs.<\/p>\n
